I talk to people from the UK pretty regularly, I watch a lot of BBC programming, I read a lot of books by authors from the UK, but sometimes they will suddenly use a word I've never heard in my life, and I'm beginning to think they are pranking us, and every other person from the UK is in on the joke, and just validates whatever the other person says!

I got 2 , songs in the key of life and innervisions _ stevie wonder. My gramps got these on vinyl and played them over and over i remember as a kid. I just starting my vinyl collection and these are the first albums I bought! Classics and both released years before my ass was even born !

I’m a 50+ white male.

How many old white guys out there would be willing join a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to oppose old white guys in positions of power? How many people would be willing to provide financial support for the same?

Nothing like this currently exists in the U.S. and I think it could be a damn effective form of protest. Personally, I’m sick and tired of seeing old fucking white guys in power everywhere I turn. Am I an aberration?

Oh, and despite thinking of myself as a bit of wordsmith, I’m admittedly terrible at acronym generation. What’s a good name for an organization pursuing said mission?

I'm out of contract on my cell mobile device smartphone and have chosen for the first time ever not to upgrade. There's not really anything further a phone could do for me, other than cost more unnecessarily. However I've noticed a sharp drop off in battery stamina since the end of my contract (CONSPIRACY!). So thinking about what my options are, I think I'm going to replace it at some point with a cheap phone with less features. Had a quick look today and saw some I liked the look of. But then noticed how they're marketed!

I'm gonna be honest y'all, it's felt dark lately, and for good reason, LGBTQ+ rights in the balance, an election coming up, women struggling to get basic Healthcare, mass shootings, SCOTUS, the environment. The list goes on and on, and the media twists everything to sound even worse, or just straight up ignores actual news. But here's the thing, I know a lot of you, and the fact that you exist in the world gives me hope. You care about the future and you want good things, and so do I, and as long as that spark is there, we have hope. So, let's focus on some good today!
