    I'm an American Jew, with grandparents from both sides from Kyiv and Odesa.

    Without hesitation I support Ukraine against Russia, and without hesitation I oppose the vicious racism, militarism and violence of Netanyahu, the Likud and the RW extremist crazies in Israel.

    There is a peaceful solution to the situation in Israel and Palestine, but it will never happen while Rabin's murderers remain in power.

    Did you know that the Top Federal income marginal tax rate was +90% from 1954 - 1963?
    There were +25 tax brackets, which gradually increased the tax rate as income went up.

    Top bracket was +90% on couples with income over $400K/yr (in today's dollars that's about $10M/yr.)

    The US was debt was low and costs of WWII and Korea were covered. Massive infrastructure projects (roads, power, space program to name a few) funded.

    Politicians (AKA crooks) changed all that.
