Really enjoyed listening to some Sierra Farrell today. Her voice has an extremely striking Dolly Parton quality to it, very expressive and powerful without going hard. Her most recent album includes this song, it's in a mix of styles from the adjacent to swinging country and across the roots spectrum. She's got a new album coming out in March. Seems like one that could take a swing at country stardom if she wants it

    I love Kacey Musgraves. She's a fantastic singer and songwriter and her last few albums are awesome. She's also brought a lot to the recent collaborations she's been doing.

    Now that said, sometimes it's best to leave a song alone and maybe not do a cover of it.

    Her version of "Three Little Birds" is not good (IMO). I don't recommend it, but if you MUST listen...
