Does anyone have had success with installing the toolchain etc on ?

I am struggling with the cargo paths, which i think i corrected by hand - not very nix like. But i fail to get the toolchain for esp running.
Cargo-espflash seems to kind of work but cargo-espup is not a thing.

@RotHorseKid hat zwar gestern meinen Workshop - naja auch viel Kram rund um deklarative Systemkonfiguration - verpasst, aber die anderen Teilnehmer hatten sehr viel Spaß und haben direkt nach einem Folgetermin gefragt.

Zur Info: Es waren hauptsächlich Windowsbenutzer oder Linuxneulinge dabei. Mehr als zwei Windowsbenutzer haben direkt gefragt, ob ich ihnen helfe auf NixOS oder ein anderes umzusteigen. Das hat mich echt umgehauen, Danke!

    There is nothing more satisfying
    than working for hours (read: weeks) on that single all-covering config and deploying it with one click.
    Also no shepherd sounded nice, but i didnt make the switch to guix from nix yet.

    I am not on your instance but i subscribed to it. I agree like most other folks, that you described your actions to be professionally and goal-oriented as transparent as possible.
    Don't take it too harsh, there are always situations which cannot be solved in a civilized manner. Pigeon-Chess, you know...

    Finally, I took a look at NixOS, and the Nix package manager! And while I was very skeptical at first, after a week of use, it’s clear that this is an insanely powerful distribution, that is now at the very top of my list to replace Fedora on my editing rig.

    Let’s see why, how it works, and why it’s so good, even though it won’t be for everyone:

    And the installation is a hassle if you have Intel WiFi etc.

    Hello folk. I have an issue: My colors are wrong in the gui version. I searched the web, but all results are for wrong terminal versions. But mine is fine. Any clues what to do? I do not even know where to start.

    I use dark theme in gnome, but haven't touched any css myself. Everything is pretty vanilla since it is my work laptop.

    Is any good for a ? I will be using and containers. Right now I am using Ubuntu server and have a few issues regarding docker that I do not want to try to solve.

    It is great but be aware of the disk space usage. Once i could not rebuild because of the way garbage collection and rebuilding works.

    Do you need docker or can this be configured to run natively?

    The german pittoresk is actaully similar to the english kindergarden which is the literal assimilation of the original (eingedeutscht). Well that's how language works, but there is no pittoresk with german roots.

    I've misplaced my Aranet4 CO2 detector but it's somewhere in the room and it's connected to my phone, which can change its settings..

    The plan? Turn on the CO2 beeping alarm and breathe real hard in a closed room until it reveals itself.

    Okay! In the past week I have switched from a Xiaomi Redmi 9S to an iPhone 12, and from a 2019 x86 MacBookPro to a 2022 M2 MacBookPro and let me tell you, these are both huge upgrades.
