Morning Mastodonians!

Hockey is a funny game. Before the puck drop, my D said to me "You're going to see a lot of shots.". And it did look like the other team had 3, maybe 4, of the best players on the ice. But instead, we crushed them, 7-1, and the lone goal I gave up was a bouncer from the second line I should have had. We worked hard, but still, I would have never guessed. I wasn't even stressed too often. Funny how that works out sometimes.

@ivory Guys, Apparently changing the app icon on MacOS 14 Sonoma does not work. Can we please add this to the list of bugs we address? Works fine on iOS.

@ivory To clarify my previous post, the icon does change on the dock so long as the app is open, but the icon is not altered in Launchpad and also reverts to the default icon in the dock as soon as I close the app.

The state of identity verification in the UK:

  1. "You need a utility bill with your full name and address".
  2. Of course these are all online now, and even if you try to get paper ones for this very purpose the companies keep pushing you to online instead.
  3. Go download a PDF of the bill.
  4. "We cannot accept online bills, it must have been posted to your address"
  5. Print out the PDF
  6. Take a photo of it
  7. Email it to them
  8. Accepted
