Thought for the day: Trump's felony trial in NYC will be over, and a verdict will have been rendered, weeks before the first scheduled debate with Biden. In fact, it's quite likely the trial will be over before the end of this month, with room to spare.

My boy hasn't been himself the last few days, not eating like usual, sleeping in the smallest box he can cram himself in to. I hope it's just a bug but we may have to go to the vet soon to check him out. Please send good energy his way. I love him so much.

It's a massive payday for him if he does because his team will use it to scam more money from the religious rubes who continue to support him by using the 'he's gone to jail for you' nonsense in the same way he says 'I'm being prosecuted for you' like he's absolving them from crimes that they don't even have! One good brain cell between the 70 million who voted for him just isn't enough, but it's certainly good enough for the 'I love the poorly educated' guy.

@ninjacooter I've been trying to tell people since the 2016 election that this is the plan. It was literally in the RNC platform to replace Constitutional law with Biblical law right behind overturn Roe and reverse Obergfell. The party is still using that playbook despite the claim of "just doing what Trump wants". I think it was Tennessee that just quietly passed a marriage law that they hope will get to the Supreme Court, and now they are openly talking about destroying democracy at CPAC.

@_L1vY_ The one remaining major newspaper in Baltimore was just bought by a right wing mogul who owns the Sinclaire stations that have been forced to push his ideology, and he wants the paper to be more like the local Fox affiliate he owns. So we’re basically screwed here because the journalists are sure to quit or be fired as the union has already expressed its concerns.
