I'm 59. When I was born, segregation existed, interracial marriage was illegal and women were not allowed to have credit cards in their own names until I was 11 years old. CIVIL RIGHTS ARE A NEW THING.

I just went into my Mastodon settings on my laptop and clicked on "following and followers" and then sorted the following list by "last active" and was very surprised to see that a lot of accounts I followed in the beginning here have not been active for months. I unfollowed them and now I'm searching for good high quality and accounts.

Can you still call yourself pro-life if you eliminate the mandate that overheated, dehydrated workers are allowed to take breaks to drink water to keep them alive? 10 minutes every 4 hours isn’t enough, anyway.

But then I get to the part that explains that workers of color will bear the brunt of it.

Another category of music from the 80's I love is Italo. Disco was killed off here in America but Europe kept dancing. And Italy was a huge source of dance music. The lyrics were sometimes nonsensical because they weren't very proficient at English but the melodies and the music were great for dancing.
