So I could get a Muffuletta 6-in-1 for $200 r/t $250 while they're on sale.
Triangle, Pi, Ram's Head, Russian, Ciivil War. I read that the mids vary.

L0wKey,
@L0wKey@mastodon.online avatar

@eyesquash
Muffs are a thing you either love or you don’t, an absolutely iconic sound! The different variants are voiced differently in the mids as you say, but they are all muffs! Don’t expect there to be more than 1 sweet spot on any of the knobs in any if the settings! It’s not a subtle circuit.

If it’s a toe dip, there are cheaper places to start. https://reverb.com/item/82040544-electro-harmonix-nano-big-muff-pi-distortion-pedal-with-box for example. That said, if the price is right the muffletta is well regarded as a solid offering.

Conspiracy theorists exist in many planes of expertise and essentially prey on vulnerable people.

Birth control medication has potential side effects, but so does anything else you take and the risks are extremely low comparatively.

The “too dangerous” idea is a myth. Birth control is safe. Birth control is a good thing.

Personal story:
I started on the pill, when I didn't need contraception, to control troublesome periods.
I later stopped taking the pill, when I did need contraception, because I reckoned it was messing with my mental health.
After using condoms SUCCESSFULLY, I chose to be open to pregnancy...
Then I used IUS until menopause. IUS made my life free from heavy painful periods.
Full circle: first used pill, not as a contraceptive, later used IUS largely not as a contraceptive.

There's almost nothing I can do but vote, and a bunch of posts are telling me that doesn't matter.

GhidorahX,
@GhidorahX@mastodon.social avatar

@eyesquash It does matter . . . it is our "franchise" as citizens to vote. But that doesn't mean that unscrupulous folks can't manipulate the system, e.g., the wealthy supporting an obvious incompetent to be exec. Voting is "evidence based" data, the emotions that go into how people vote is how puttin got people to vote against their own interests in '16--and the resulting chaos came from that.

I'm looking for a solution to branch-based previews for a #PHP / #MySQL stack. We have nearly 60 sites we want to set this up for (a lot of services I find either charge $1000s or don't even support that many).

I don't want anything fancy, I don't need to edit in the browser. I would like to push a branch to gitlab and have the option to spin up an environment to preview.

I have considered doing it myself, but I was hoping to not have to support my own infrastructure.

He adds: "The Chief Justice must see how this is damaging the Court and immediately enact an enforceable code of conduct."

Every Black rapper has a political opinion. Every single one. But you only hear about the political opinions of the ones that support Trump. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Because that's what US news, which is tuned for white eyes, pushes.

Many white Dems and white GOP folk genuinely believe that Black folk only vote for Black folk, and that Black folk blindly vote for whoever a Black celebrity tells them to vote for. They're genuinely surprised when Black folk don't vote for Kanyes or Hershels or Tim Scotts. Every time.

"For Microsoft, Israel’s extensive prison system is a lucrative opportunity. Since 2017, the company has been providing Microsoft Cloud Services (MCS) software consulting services, year over year, to the Israel Prison Service (IPS), where Palestinians who are charged in military courts face a 99.9% conviction rate–and where over 10,000 Palestinans in the occupied West Bank have been held without trial since October 7 [31].

In 2021, Microsoft signed a $211,000 contract to provide similar consulting services to the IPS for the following year [32]. Similar carceral products and services are being exported to repressive governments around the world, and even used by police forces in major American cities like New York, LA, D.C., and Seattle [33].

To quote directly from Microsoft News: “Digital transformation makes it possible to consider prison as a business” [34]."

I mixed a song a couple of nights ago but didn’t get around to posting it to my alonetone or hearthis.at accounts so it just sat there on my laptop. Now it is out there for the whole wide world to ignore.

I think it kinda sounds like crap, but the song itself is okay, I think. You can probably hear the edits in the chorus because I wrote a melody without leaving any space for that pesky little breathing thing. Oops.

The lead guitar was through a nearly cranked amp. That was fun. Noisy as hell, but fun.
