He's a bad man who belongs in prison, but all prisoners should be treated properly.

But also, since he is convicted in California, he won't be released during his retrial in NY. So maybe these tests at Bellevue are a ploy to keep him away from Rikers for a few months.

Fun fact: In old English law, attempting to overthrow the government was considered high treason, a capital crime punishable by being drawn and quartered or beheaded. But in America, we do things slightly differently - instead, we offer traitors guest spots on MSNBC and greased pathways back to the White House to see if they can do high treason better next time.

I was just thinking about what it could it be. Maybe too many possibilities to list.

The only facts at the moment is the US knew something and thought it was serious enough to issue a public warning and then that it happened.

I'm willing to wait for more reasoned analysis.

I like what you said in an earlier post. The press should be focused on the one candidate who has lost 500 million dollars in court from fraud and rape this year.

The first criminal conviction is 5 weeks out so they (the press) have time to reflect on their past errors and get some perspective.

These businesses can all support themselves but once they are in some private equity portfolio, they are no longer profitable enough to exist. Not everything should be massive scale. There should be niche products too.

I didn't use any of these, but I was a fan of RGT and miss it but I'm doing OK on TrainerRoad this winter season. Hopefully it will never get swallowed up by Zwift.

For years I've wanted to go to and do a tour of / food entirely by bike. I also want to explore the inland waterways.

I'd love to take my own bike via from NY, find a place to stay, and GoPro the whole thing.

I've started my map. That's always the first step.

We have a lot of 2 way bike paths where we are and I have to say I don't like it when these throttled tanks are coming directly at me and the rider is only paying half attention to the path in front of them. I think some differentiation in rules by class is necessary and it will take some time to get it right. Maybe it will just be speed limit enforcement but with the rapid adoption of ebikes new laws are overdue.

For those of you following my sad travel saga: We’re near Redding, CA, we can’t get home before tomorrow evening. Father-in-law took a nosedive. He wants to die, is refusing oxygen (he’s under hospice care) & has gone without it for an hour. 🚨Not good. Sister In Law is w him, waiting for nurse to bring morphine for pain. Things looking dire. Just hope we can be there for him in time. SIL is trying to convince him to hang in, take O2. 😰TY for listening. ❤️Losing connection 👋🏼
