mostly the same as this name anywhere — fascinated by earth and related-science. So far this is more of a science account and the sfba one is more of a personal account, but there will always be sloppy overlap.

I'll happily lie around half the day when it's my choice, but now I'm on two days of bed rest so I want to go hiking or play kickball.

(Realistically: I'm recovering from 5 days of extreme foot after a week of walking around in , on osteoporotic feet that were already trashed from disease and a fracture. I can't realistically play kickball, and the bedrest is to recover from TEN steroid injections into my foot joints after destroying them further there.)

I'm taking a road trip between the San Francisco area and maybe Big Bend, Texas, in November. That's a lot, but we will limit the geography once we know what we want to see. We will have a ND kid who likes science and sensory stuff, eg we will visit White Sands. Where should we go?

Is there a for the , this thing people call , that will allow me to keep separate personal and -related accounts, and to post to both of those from one client, and ideally, to those posts?

Thanks in advance for boosting.

I need stuff for my bedroom, and I would rather have and etsy. I need translucent window clings or vinyl stickers to keep birds from crashing into my bedroom window, I need colored clings or stickers to go on my closet door to make it not a giant light expanse, and I need two 10x14 pieces of or in somewhat of a theme. Where should I look?

You can send me to your shop if you want, but I don't want to search there this time.

I've got a local family member with a few huge artichoke plants, and she likes to share. So I'm going to eat these for dinner. I had some black bean soup earlier today, and this is really all I need now.

When I was young in Shasta County it was common to see the road through the park not open until 4th of july, but lately with less snow and the population west of the park growing so much, they've been plowing it through by Memorial day. But this year there was so much snow that they didn't get it done until july. That's awesome.

when you hear "out comes the man from Mars and you try to run but he's got a gun and he shoots you dead and he eats your head," are you already singing and dancing or is this new to you? Question triggered by a conversation with someone in their early fifties who didn't know what I was talking about.

, the capital of , has water most of the way over the ground floors of its downtown, and the dam upstream could overtop or fail. There has been extreme in Europe this year, central Africa, New England, New York State, New Zealand, where else? And extreme heat, drought, sea warming. The El Niño coming is on top of already warm seas globally and an unusually warm tropical Atlantic.

Anyway, nothing to see here, move along.

I just realized that I have a bunch of people I don't seem to follow, who am I used to follow, like real life friends, and when I click follow back it says that action is not allowed. Anyone know what's going on with that? It's not across the board and I can't tell whether it's instance based.

For those who can't see this image, it's of a car tilted up nose down in the mud, with a person standing next to it . It looks like it's up against the hill. I don't know much about this border situation:
Are the migrants Russian? Are there good reasons not to accept Russian immigrants?
If they're not Russian, are there reasons they're not taking other routes through ?

Why can't Marzhan Kakimova or her sister move to live in the same country as one another?
