feature request for PhpStorm: when the break points are muted, please change the background color of the dubug console, and display a message “break points are muted” above the debug console.

I just lost 30 minutes because i couldn’t figure out why Step Debugging wasn’t working. I’m certain that’ll happen again. Please JevBrains - you’re my only hope

I think we need some sort of agreement in that you are just not ready to use a JavasScript framework to emit and until you actually understand more than <div> tags and slapping a bunch of utility classes on things. Otherwise you are just automating the emission of 💩

@cebe @jaapio Yeah, any web app where you might type that much into a textarea should implement resumable drafts. It'd be handy as a W3C DOM attribute.

Another trick is to open the browser dev tools by right-clicking the textarea, then typing this into the Javascript console:

localStorage.draft = $0.value

You can use a bookmarklet w/ focus.

To restore text later you just flip the operands.

You can also wrap that in a setInterval() for auto-save if you use a proper selector.

If I get the question "coffee?" While someone is showing me a cup of coffee, I'd answer "I know".

Just like in the Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker movies. 😄

On Monday, May 1st an attacker managed to take over 4 maintainer accounts on http://packagist.org - please do not reuse passwords and enable 2FA on your accounts - no malicious code was distributed - attack detected, accounts disabled and URL changes reverted on May 2nd.

A big mistake that liberal minded folks are making is buying into the "I just don't understand" lie & dog whistle that bigots keep using.

Stop trying to teach them or to explain. This is the interaction they want.

You don't have to "get it" or even like it, to respect people & their right to live their lives how they want.

I don't understand sports fanatics and yet I'm not trying to pass laws to stop tailgate parties & ban face painting your team colours.
