Tonight in "Coralie puts random things in perspective", I wanted to point out that #OpenAI losing US$ 540M last year is roughly equivalent to what it would cost to run #W3C for 60 years.

@w3c is the World Wide Web Consortium —which is responsible for creating the open standards that make the Web work across platforms and devices— and was created 29 years ago by Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee.

Yes, the same Web that is scraped for generative AI training.

Fund the better causes!

I find it hard to “celebrate” a “happy” international day of women’s rights.

Women/men inequalities are still jarring.

We create quantum computers, explore space but disregard half our population 😳

People, please:
• recognize women. All women. Everywhere
• empower women. Pay them as much if not more than you pay men for the same work
• include all women, irrespective of race, age, ability, faith, body image, and how they identify
• listen to women, seek and value women’s views
