As I get into my tea journey I find myself ordering many teas from Chaozhou and Fujian. As a half Chaozhou and half Fujian person, it also feels like I’m getting to learn about my roots.

I call this my identi-tea.

Today I saw two flycatchers, and if you disagree with my identifications, you're probably right. I also saw a juvenile woodpecker. The last picture is in memory of my hummingbirds, all of whom have left for the south.

I think this is an eastern peewee. It is a small, olive-brown bird, with a whiteish throat, chest and belly. It has long wings, unlike other flycatchers.
This is a juvenile red headed woodpecker, hatched this summer. It won't get its red head for a while, maybe a year from now. It has a brown head, brownish-black feathers and a dingy white belly.
This is the last look at the juvenile male ruby throated hummingbird that was probably hatched in my yard this summer. I haven't seen him or his sister for 10 days, so I assume they have departed for the south, which they have never seen, but somehow they know how to get there.

Oh wow am I struggling this morning. My stomach has hurt real bad for 6 hours. I’m in the three sisters wilderness. I took some acid reducer and other stomach medicine. It’s hard to drink water but i’m forcing myself since i’m mildly dehydrated. No way I could eat. I think climbing south sister is out, not sure if I can complete the loop at this point. Probably going to make camp in 4 miles and try to sleep it off. I have limited resources on me but would appreciate any suggestions.
