I'm part way through the series and I have to say, it was a really weird narrative choice to have show up and ask the star whales for help. Way too convenient that Earth whales and star whales speak the same language.

I guess this is just the we live in now.

I'll say it again:
I want a #federated #blogging platform where I can easily host my images in the #fediverse, somewhere like #pixelfed

I want the images to be inline with my text, so I can tell a story with embedded images (not "attached" images the way Mastodon does it).

Basically, I want a combination of rich media blogging with engagement on images similar to #Flickr

Oh, man, playing through Jedi: Fallen Order and Cere says Dathomir is home to “an ancient cabal of Force wielding witches”.

Excuse me, no. It’s been explained in the shows at great length witches do not have or use the Force. There was an entire arc where Mother Talzin tried to steal some Force energy and she said witches don’t even have Force.

@nicolas Are you referring to that Jar Jar s6 TCW episode? Haven't seen that episode in a while 🤔. I have played the game and seen Ahsoka, The Clone Wars and Rebels and took away from it that there are Force wielders other than Sith and Jedi and these witches tap into the broader energy there albeit with a more specific type namely this magick. Seems like from TCW season 3 they've been incorporating the Nightsisters into the galaxy (+ beyond) as a third group and we haven't seen the last of them

Mine is still hosted at http://sxatech.blogspot.com but it hasn't had too many posts recently and as ay passionate advocateI increasingly find it hard to continue to post there and support now

What are the best open options? Bonus points if there are good migration options.

Happy Frankenstein Friday! I wanted to draw your attention to the 1957 "The Curse Of Frankenstein" movie (based on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein novel).

Peter Cushing plays Baron Victor Frankenstein and Christopher Lee, who played opposite each other in many oldschool horror/Hammer films, plays Frankenstein's monster.

Thanks to uBlock Origin and @protonvpn's Netshield, this is YouTube for me half the time now. No regrets about blocking ads though. Just reset adblock filter and VPN connection and YouTube is none the wiser.

Season 7 episode 2 is some baizarre stuff for an animated show. It's rated TV-PG so I guess parents are watching with their kids?
