@StillIRise1963 it's sad how people literally chose the no Vax direction. No one stopped them from getting jabbed. I'm sorry for your loss. For a while the anti-vax people made me wonder if COVID vaccines were mostly just a hope strategy (I'm fine with that). But then there is this new study (sorry if you've already seen it): "Repeat COVID-19 vaccinations elicit antibodies that neutralize variants, other viruses"

If anyone has read my posts about the rock squirrels eating everything that has moisture, they have not chomped on the Baby Rita's yet. There have been a few bites out of them, but that's it. The Baby Rita's replaced numerous other plants destroyed by rock squirrels.

June 2, 1924: Congress enacts the Indian Citizenship Act. Only 100 years ago. Just a reminder that the constitutional definition of 'people' to include all humans is a very recent event, less than 160 years. It's not that long ago. My grandmother (RIP) was born in 1898. The current conservative backsliding on who gets to be 'people' under the constitution needs to be stopped. Don't vote conservative. Reform the Supreme Court.

@StillIRise1963 Thanks for the article, which reads like something from the National Review: Non-conservative media is to be scorned. The article also cherry picked the facts and ignored the plethora of republican 'never-trumpers' on MSNBC. The primary takeaway is the affirmation that the 21st Century version of the NYT is not representative of the country, but is, at a minimum, leaning to the corporate libertarian right (i.e. fascists).

Dear Google,

When I search, I am not looking for The Answer. I am looking for sources. A search that generates only answers will be useless personally, and worse than useless professionally for me.

What I would really like is an internet search engine that works. Google did that once. Then they focused on other things and used it for ad revenue and it became the new Craigslist.

It would sure be nice if Google would reinvent an actual internet search engine.
