@sotogaming I honestly hope they remove the ability to respawn, but keep it's ability to treat tier 3 injuries. I could live with them having some hefty restrictions on the respawns though, like maybe 1 respawn token every 10 min, with a max capacity of 4, in addition to using some sort of medical resource to enable respawning.

It took me a while, but I finally got things set up to play on Doom. I've been watching @El_Draculo for a while, and I've really wanted to give it a go myself. It was super-easy to set up thanks to , so tnx a bunch for that 😍

Now to learn how to play... 😅

I'm a bit frustrated right now...

I've tried to switch from GNOME to KDE on . But when I switched from GDM to SDDM, SDDM won't detect my Nordic keyboard layout. In other words, I can't log in to my PC whilst using SDDM 😑

The solutions I've found online have not helped me... Does anyone here have any idea what might be going on, and what the solution might be?

I got the craze again after watching 🙃 I'm really looking forward to the improvements they showed making their way into the actual game. Hauling my cargo has been a lot of fun though, didn't take me too long to make 600.000 aUEC 😃

Hello good folks of the Fediverse! Anyone know if it's possible to remove the idiotic "black bars" that some modern Blu-ray discs ships with? Hopefully via media-player settings?

I've got a wide-screen PC-screen that makes this a particular issue. Example-image attached; The red line is the edges of my screen, and you can obviously see that the movie doesn't fit properly, even though the aspect ratio of the movie SHOULD fit in theory. 🙃

I've spent the last 3 days baking my own bread and my own rolls. I've used coarser types of flour than what I usually buy in the store.

It's already been really good for my digestion, and I'm so happy that it took this little effort to improve my quality of life 😃

I've never really baked before, and there is a lot to learn it seems 🧑‍🍳 Might have to do this more often!

My father in law told me that AI language models wouldn't joke about Islam, but that it would joke about all other religions without hesitation. I didn't believe him, but turns out he was right 👀

The AI literally states it cannot make a joke about religious figures, but it goes right ahead when I ask about other religions? 🤔

The jokes were horrible btw, we're just not there yet! 😂

I ended up buying . I really don't like buying Early Access titles, but this one sufficiently intrigued me with it's Diablo 1-like graphics, the very cheap price, and the fact that it's made with

The developer (@pLaw ) convinced me on the of their vision 😃 Blizzard, EA, Bethesda and all those AAA studios never aligned that much with my values...

And the game is GOOD 👍

@zauri27 I've been burnt too many times by fancy trailers and beautiful graphics... I mean, I'm a Star Citizen backer, I was fooled by pretty JPEGS! 😂

Most of the innovative things happen within the Indie community it seems, with people who are truly connected to their projects. They are driven by love for their craft AND the profit, unlike AAA-studio executives that focus only on the profits.

Ok, maybe my rage is irrational here, but holy s*** I'm so done with the app-search in . I write quickly the three letters of an app I'm trying to open, but for a split-second it hasn't completed the search. So when I write them quickly and press enter, it opens an entirely different app 🙃 I wish it would just... wait for the search to complete or something before launching an app?!

Not sure if this will reach out to anyone who can answer, but I've been learning a bit about the protocol, and it claims to be better against censorship and muuuch simpler that . However, what are the downsides of Nostr, compared to APub? Less censorship = more bots? Simpler protocol = lacking good built-in defences against unknow threats, or something like that?
