jwr1,
moira, Hm, I'd rate the alert a solid 7/10 - not as loud, piercing, and annoying as a smoke detector, but definitely a teeth-gritting edge, something that really feels like the aural equivalent of sand in the crotch.
moira, wait why a second one
is it because they were early? are they going to keep doing this until they get the timing right?
RobynGoodfellow, @moira I definitely detected notes of Dremel Tool drill to the ear drum.

jupiter_rowland, Hubzilla test #3: Regular post with a regular mentioin instead of a deliverable one
Either kbin.social is slow, or my first two test posts didn't make it for some reason. So here's something even more basic and quite un-Hubzilla-like.
kjr, @jupiter_rowland I have seen your post but as microblogging, not as thread.

It still looks the same to me, but it may be an artifact of my instance being a Glitch-soc fork, albeit one running v4.2.0rc2 as of this writing.
anaelleoberlin,

gnaddrig, (edited ) @ve7fim Weird, maybe a bug that will get fixed? I mean, having hashtags typographically marked is rather useful

#prywatność #test #porównanie #ranking #przeglądarka #przeglądarki #webbrowser #Brave #Chrome #Google #Edge #Microsoft #Firefox #Librewolf #Mullvad #Opera #Safari #Tor #Ungoogled #Vivaldi
chlopmarcin, Polish @Vivaldi Dzięki za tę uwagę. Przeczytałem Wasz wpis z wyjaśnieniem. Przekonuje mnie i będę o nim pamiętał.
Jeśli chodzi o autora strony, to... zazwyczaj zakładam dobrą wolę u innych ludzi.

- (+) Lemmy can create titles
- (-) Kbin no
but it is also true that
- (-) if Lemmy receives a badly written microblogging message, she processes like a post it badly and makes it appear in a horrible way ...
- (+) if Kbin receives a badly written microblogging message, she doesn't need to process it and makes it appear as if it were a normal microblogging platform

grischa, Ich muss wirklich langsam neue #COVID19 Tests besorgen.

JeanBaptisteEt4, French It's a Beta Version. (--> https://geogebra.org/python/index.html)
There is no "official" documentation yet, but there is some great examples and the source on github.Source : https://github.com/geogebra
in https://github.com/geogebra/pyggb/tree/develop/src/wrap-ggb/wrappings it's possible to "guess" a lot of things.
To see the examples: https://geogebra.org/python/index.html + File -> Open -> Examples.
and to see a list of the specifics commands : http://revue.sesamath.net/spip.php?article1601 (in french)
There is a lot of limition for now, but it's gone a be great , i think.
JeanBaptisteEt4, French @villares
I'm starting to use it with my students and it seems to be working very well. They're already very familiar with Geogebra, and the connection between python and geogebra opens up new doors.
hywan, Testing sudo-rs and improving sudo along the way, https://ferrous-systems.com/blog/testing-sudo-rs/.
sudo-rs is a re-implementation of sudo in Rust. While testing sudo-rs, they have found several inconsistencies in the specification, and found 2 bugs in the original sudo implementation.
This test suite can run on both implementations.
Link to sudo-rs: https://github.com/memorysafety/sudo-rs.
sirobsidian, @hywan But why does sudo HAVE to be rewritten in Rust? if there are inconsistencies in the specification of sudo, why don't you just fix sudo?
hywan, The First Stable Release of a Memory Safe sudo Implementation, https://www.memorysafety.org/blog/sudo-first-stable-release/.
There we go. sudo-rs is now stable.
> The Wolfi Linux OS already includes sudo-rs and we hope that others will follow their lead.

Testergebnis = 100%
iampytest1, (edited ) @gnulinux Please don't use this tool: it is notoriously inaccurate and not recommended by the uBo developer: https[://]twitter[.]com/gorhill/status/1583581072197312512
Many of the "ads and trackers" it tests for are also not really ads or trackers: https://github.com/d3ward/toolz/issues/31
