What, exactly, does the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Canada, etc, think will happen with their blocking funding to the #UNRWA What do they want to happen? They fired the people accused (nothing proven, just allegations) and they've started an investigation?
They are contributing to genocide. We are all guilty if we don't stop our governments from this insanity
Mehdi Hasan to Mark Regev, senior Netanyahu advisor:
“If Hamas gunmen were hiding out in a school in Tel Aviv or in an apartment block in Haifa, would you be OK with the Israeli military dropping bombs on those buildings, leveling them, killing the innocent Israelis inside in order to get the Hamas gunmen? Would you do that?”

At a demonstration in Tel Aviv calling for a ceasefire, hostage deal, impeachment of the government and equal rights from the river to the sea.
"We invite our colleagues to join us in demanding an end to Israeli apartheid and occupation, an end to Gaza genocide, and an end to Western governments’ complicity."
November 29 is the Innational Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. 🍉
So don your Keffiyeh, pick up a free ebook and peruse one of the many resources to educate yourself and support the struggle for Palestinian freedom and dignity. 🇵🇸
Let’s be clear. Palestinian journalists said this since Day 1 and those who believed them were ridiculed or called antisemitic.
Now the NYT confirms “Israel claims it protects civilians, but a NYT investigation found at least 200 times Israel dropped its most destructive bombs in areas it designated as safe for civilians in Gaza.”
That’s no accident—it’s policy. Where is the accountability? #CeasefireNOW
“So many members of my family died in the Holocaust. And it’s absolutely horrifying that claims of antisemitism are being attributed to criticism of Israel. ”
From an interview with a Hasidic Jewish person in Israel, taken by The Ask Project (see explainer article below):
Interviewer: "Does everyone who lives here deserve to be treated the same way?"
Interviewee: "I think not. I think this is the nation of the Jews and that the Jews should have more rights than the non-Jews. I think that each Jew should get a plot of land and non-Jews shouldn't" https://archive.ph/cN0yM #CeasefireNow#GazaGenocide#FreePalestine#Apartheid
The US vetoing the Arab-backed resolution is disgusting, but I think this point from their (USA's) counter resolution speaks to, in coded language, the fact they believe Israel is on the verge of or planning full on ethnic cleansing and that is likely a real "red line". If Israel pursues this, and the USA withdraws from their decades-long unequivocal support for Israeli policy, then the entire dynamic in Middle East geopolitics could completely change, and not to Israel's benefit.
"In another criticism directed at Israel, the U.S. draft condemns calls by government ministers for the resettlement of Gaza and rejects an attempt at demographic or territorial change in Gaza that would violate international law.”
Here's a still from the sit-in at Liverpool Street station. The video doesn't really convey the scale but any of you who have been to Liverpool Street will be able to gauge the number of people there from this picture. #Solidarity#CeasefireNow#Gaza
The USA once again promotes genocide; this time taking active part not only with funding and weaponry, but by not stopping the slaughter when given the opportunity.
This is more than looking away, this is more than complicity. This is actively taking part in the displacement and slaughter of men, women, and children. Including babies.
The "4 more years" chant of the crowd in response to the #CeasefireNow protestors is absolutely disgusting. Either they support the #genocide or they're too dumb to even listen to or understand what the protestors are protesting.
Then the lying with a straight face of #GenocideJoe about doing everything he could to restrain #Israel all while bypassing the congress to send munitions and weapons to Israel.
Al Jazeera is showing thousands in protest in Tel Aviv, #Israel, calling for Netanyhu’s resignation. They have completely taken over the streets. Their demand is for an “all for all release” and demands all Palestinians be released in exchange for the Israeli hostages. They are also outside of Netanyahu’s house in Jerusalem.
GPLB: "Rishi Sunak is speaking outside No 10. He says there’s a growing threat to British democracy ... saying this is under threat from people looking to capitalise on Hamas’ attacks on Israel, and the resulting assault on Gaza, to undermine British values."
Next week's protest in London is going to be interesting.
