Hej. Dobrzy ludzie. Gdzie znajdę jakiś mądry i wyważony tekst niemarketingowy i nie przeznaczony dla forum / czatu / pokoju dla klientów a dla społeczności, o tym jak powinna wyglądać moderacja, aby forum było przyjazne? Próbowałem 4 wyszukiwarkami i nie znalazłem takiego nic po polsku.

Personally, I like the possibility of tangents in Reddit BUT I think I prefer the focus of staying on topic from a single thread.

Devo implementare #ActivityPub nel mio #forum#phpBB che non integra assolutamente la tecnologia, quindi devo imparare da zero almeno certe parti.
Che risorse consigliate per imparare? (A parte i doc #w3c che meh, comprensivi ma bruttini)

It is great to see how many are using Vivaldi across devices and sync. Vivaldi is one of the few browsers that offers browsers on all major OS and the only browser to do that and provide the browser in cars as well.
It is also great to see how many are using the different Vivaldi services. We are happy to provide ways for our community to engage and to support the Fediverse!

One of the things I loved about joining #Mastodon and the #Fediverse as a whole was finding similar kinds of friendly and positive interactions I found in the earlier #Internet#Forum days, as-well as later in the early #Twitter days. There's general friendliness, and more and more and more folk are joining every day. It's real nice, but also not the complete picture, of course.
Tipp Nr.13: Informiert euch über Veranstaltungen zu IT-Sicherheit und Datenschutz in eurer Nähe. Nehmt bspw. an #CryptoPartys teil, bei dem sich Menschen treffen, um Verschlüsselungs- und Verschleierungstechniken zu erlernen. Vernetzt euch mit Gleichgesinnten - online und offline!
Have some kind of real-time interface. The chat-like style Spectrum.chat used was great for this (apart from Spectrum (source linked) being slow as hell).
Provide plenty of single sign-on. IndieAuth on by default could be a big help.
Have a cheap/free (at least sponsor open-source projects to be free), dead-simple way to host your own
Other nice-to-haves:
Fediverse support of some kind.
Integration with Discord (hell, using Discord's forums, and bi-directional! It's possible with Discord's API, last I checked).
When using a #forum, and you quote a post, do you expect to be able to edit the post (i.e. to add emphasis, truncate unnecessary parts, etc.)?
It's possible to structure quoted posts like "references", so a reference to a deleted post is also empty. This has advantages when it comes to the #GDPR Right to Erasure, but may be a grey area (is a quoted post still YOUR post?).

Ich habe mal einen Test gestartet. Über das Konto @kuketzforum werden neue Themen, die im Forum erstellt werden, automatisch verlinkt. Es wird nur das initiale Thema verlinkt, keine Antworten darauf. Praktisch eine Art RSS-Feed, der die neuen Beiträge vom Forum im Fediverse verlinkt.
I’m heartbroken over the end of the internet’s #forum era. I don’t care if it makes me sound like an old lady yelling at clouds to say so. Two years ago a web search brought me to a 10-year-old post on a 20-year-old forum, which gave a collection of recipes built around an extremely specific, little-known locally foraged ingredient. They were the only such recipes I had ever found ANYWHERE. Less than 6 months later, that 20-year-old forum shut down and now its entire archive is gone forever.
