At sunrise in the Florida Everglades, a calm stillness prevails, occasionally broken by the sounds of waking wildlife. Mist rises from the water, adding a touch of mystery to the marshy landscape as the sun casts warm hues over the scene.
Not sure I am ready for this, but it could be just days away. The snow last winter in New Mexico was beautiful. The Sangre de Cristo Mountains at the end of the Rocky Mountains were blanket in heavy snow. A winter like we hadn't seen in awhile. You ready for some snow?
ICUMI , I took a few more photos of the #moon with the Digi-Camera and downloaded them overnight.
Here's some #FullMoon shots, including the video link https://mstdn.ca/@Rasta/111147474691566084 there was so much red in the moon (wildfire smoke) that I tried a black and white too
IMO I've had better full-moon shoots, I'll take what I can

The Valley Of The Five Lakes (The Fifth Lake) Jasper Alberta.
This image taken midweek in April 2022.
Thick ice melting as the average daily temperature rises. No one else around. The view and the silence enhanced by the occasional sounds of the local wildlife and the spectacular reports of the ice cracking loudly as it warms (It sounds quite similar to gunshots)
A wonderfully eerie yet tranquil experience. #Rockies#Jasper#jasperalberta#Valleyofthefivelakes #scenic#mountains#lake#hiking
