Republicans must be too busy trying to distract us with other things to try and cancel Obamacare lately. Or maybe they’ve finally realized most people like it.

At any rate, this is another great idea from Governor Gretchen Whitmer. All states should do it. Probably only the Democratic-run ones will.

@TonyStark The ADA “Obamacare” ❤️ saved me & my HoneyBear’s life & home when he was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma❣️ Worked perfectly as designed! He switched to a higher level insurance, paying 12k more a year & the 500k cost of the wonderfully successful treatment was almost 99% paid! 😍

My great grandmother who died when I was a kid grew up in a home with one of her grandparents who was enslaved, and also married into a family where her father in law was enslaved. American Slavery was NOT that long ago.

@BlackAzizAnansi @adamgreenfield I did phone banking for Obama‘s first presidential campaign. 😍 I was partnered with an older Black woman who told me her story: her grandmother was enslaved. As a four-year-old she was a foot warmer in bedrooms. That story & the vision I have of her grandmother’s experience will be with me forever. And now a current presidential candidate is saying slavery was good for some of those slaves or that they somehow benefited. Vote Blue 💙🇺🇸💙

When someone says “vote”, they are saying “vote.” Voting is important, requires our participation, and has direct effects on our lives and the lives of our children, friends, and fellow residents of the planet.

Saying “vote” is not saying “only vote” or “vote and do nothing else” or “voting will fix everything in the U.S. immediately.”

If someone says “be careful driving” as you go out the door, they’re not saying “only be careful driving and be reckless everywhere else.”

This is easy stuff.
