Ways to fight climate change.

Easy:
Buy less stuff.
Re-use more stuff.
Fix broken stuff.
Burn less stuff.
Eat local stuff.

Feel free to add to the list.

Non ideological answers only.

Here in #Québec, we're fortunate to have the #dépanneur, corner-shops in mostly residential neighbourhoods.

Why hasn’t anyone decided to merge retirement homes, children’s homes and animal shelters?

A large house where older people teach young children about life and take care of abandoned animals together.

In this arrangement, everyone would be a winner.

I agree with you, Andrea. Seniors should be able to live in a way that is integrated into the community and different age groups.
I’m so excited that is building a new complex which will serve seniors and people with special needs and include a daycare. There’ll even be a cafe / bistro and events room to welcome the public 😃 And I’m proud of for encouraging this.

@AnnaAnthro Is Oliver Primeau some type of food reviewer?? Why is it his recommendation is so influential. Simply curious. Good fortune for the food truck business and interesting place for people to visit in Not your typical tourist mecca.

That lawsuit in is going to make its provincial court like such a joke…

First: there is no law that requires the GG to speak French. There just isn’t.

Second: there is no world in which a provincial superior court gets to assert jurisdiction over an official of the federal, not provincial, crown.

This is going to be a watcher. 🍿

The changing dominant interpretation of sec. 33 by legal scholars in recent months is going to radically change how the notwithstanding clause is handled by the courts in future.

The notwithstanding clause was never intended to be a blanket override of constitutional protections.

Instead, invoking it simply places the attached legislation under the constitutional laws, customs, and norms as they existed prior to the Charter’s adoption.

This does not work in ’s favour.

C’est donc dire que la majorité des accidents étaient liés au comportement des conducteurs.

Quebec sat on it’s laurels bragging about how it’s electricity system was already renewable while it’s leaders neglected to consider that everything needed to be electrified.

Quebec is now frantically flailing about grasping at straws in order to plug a looming generation shortfall.
