Yooo, today is #BandcampFriday and I have two albums of #DarkAmbient music for you. Inspirations include cinematic, industrial, power noise, and experimental music.
Please have a listen? (A boost is just as good as a purchase)
If anyone has club style techno or minimal techno tracks between 128-134 BPM or traditional trance between 142-145 BPM, let me know, please. My DJ sets would benefit from more independent sounds.
Some #darkambient produced in 4/4 would be useful too!
On this, rarest of Alabama snow days, I give you my first album to listen to.. some of the tracks were crafted with such a day in mind. Contemplative, meditative, moody music to drift away to? I got you, fam.
If you'd like to check out the electronic music I have collecting dust on my bandcamp, today is #BandcampFriday and a great day to do it. It's all free:
I just released a new 3-song EP called 'Abduction Songs'. It's a dark and dreamy mixture of ethereal alt-folk, acoustic dreampop & dark ambient experimentation. Lost signals and broken transmissions, drifting through the ether...
It's #BandcampFriday again, wow that month went fast. Gonna push the latest Skin Contact release this time. A bit of noisy stuff with #DarkAmbient touches here & there. Culled from the Noise Therapy sessions I post every couple of weeks, re-tweaked and re-recorded for this release.
Also available from my new #Faircamp site on a PWYW basis.
Released some new music yesterday. Dark, atmospheric, grimey ambient. If that sounds like something you might enjoy, check it out on Bandcamp for free with one of these codes.
Thank you so much to everyone who has listened to my new #DarkAmbient#music release "The Crypt", about the encrypted layer of the #DarkWeb home to the rogue AIs crawling up to the surface web wreaking havoc all over the world!
it's Friday the 13th, and what better time to release "The Apparition", a soundtrack to a haunting. For fans of wonky pianos, sound collage, sad melodies, and ghosts.
Still a few hours left of #BandcampFriday in this time zone, so I'll mention this one too, for those whose tastes run to the noisier side of things.
This is a collection of noise and dark ambient from my project Skin Contact, containing re-tweaked and re-recorded versions of tracks that originated in the Noise Therapy sessions that I post regularly.
A drone generated with Reaktor, then heavily processed in Reaper. The ensemble I used is called Sludge Drone, but I couldn't find it in the user library again to link to it.
Well, this has been fun, and thanks again to @screwtape for bringing it to my attention. Also thanks to those who have listened and commented.
Hello new server! I'm not new to Mastodon, thanks.
I'm excited to share my music, listen to yours, and get to know everybody.
My background was in visual art until a few years ago, when I started producing music electronically with Dreams on PS4. I got a degree in audio engineering. Lately, I'm doin weird things with an electric cello.
And who could forget the magnificent #NocturnalEmissions - your post- #industrial#darkambient freak-electro- #dub gig-going isn’t complete without seeing #NigelAyers at least once… so come to Yeovil with the rest of the cool cats… almost all of us don’t bite & the ones that do are fully vaccinated with clean and sharp teeth so you won’t feel a thing https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mHHWStdWNmc
Hey, I'm Raccoon Fink. I write electronic music of all kinds, most recently diving deep into #DungeonSynth.
I've been composing since the early 90s (as RangerRick) working with trackers after finding them on BBSes and eventually the #Demoscene.
Nowadays I work with #Renoise, the great-great-great-grandchild of those ancient trackers of old like #ScreamTracker and #FastTracker. It's an amazing tracker that combines oldschool workflows with modern DAW features.
My latest #RaccoonFink album is called Beyond an Age of Wonder. It is a love-letter to (and inspired by) @ursulav's World of the White Rat fantasy books (The Clocktaur War, The Saints of Steel, and Swordheart). It ranges from big cinematic orchestral #DungeonSynth pieces to 80s horror-inspired #DarkAmbient, and I'm super proud of it.
