There is not a #scarcity of funds for #transportation in the US. We spend tens of billions every year on #road construction and maintenance. That's a policy choice.

People who say they need a car because it rains sometimes, have you tried just carrying an umbrella or dressing your #eBike as one? I just rode a 1.5 miles round trip to pickup the kid from school, and my shoes were completely dry the whole time. In cycling heaven. Today I e-biked my old 2006 Brompton with a Swytchbike kit. Only time for a short ride up Westwood Hill in Sydenham. Tough when I was fit, impossible with late onset asthma. Now trivial.
