Philosophically, JSDB – which writes out to native JavaScript logs – is very much the JavaScript version of SWX, the native data format for Flash that I released around 2007 (where data was written out in native SWF format). I have to say that I’m glad I didn’t have to reverse engineer SWF bytecode this time around :)

I think it’s very normal to assume that every artefact is large. This is in keeping with the kind of detailed photography we have combined with the reputation (fame) that objects accrue in the shared mind of humanity. The Mona Lisa is a great example. And for me, this fresco is another.
Yes, it is this small. Yes, she certainly was part of a much larger fresco. Yes, seeing this in person is definitely a moment of awe!

Flashback Nov 8, 2010. Somehow starting the age of smartphone photos, taken with the infamous Palm Pre. Late at night. Returning home from a bar with close friends. Rather poor quality in a picture that somehow feels important. Originally on Facebook which also felt important back then...
On my mind clearing drive to Omaha, I saw 6 #Rivian#R1S#SUVs#BEV on car carriers heading west on I-80. On the way back I had a #flashback to the first attack on my life. I can't figure out recreate the trigger. It may have been a combination of the layout of the land, sunrise, and the airbase. I later saw over 20 hot air balloons in the sky south west of #Creston. The Creston/Southwest Iowa Balloon Days Art Festival was going on. What a night. 8 #flashbacks from the book and 1 on the drive.
On enchaîne sur du forcément moins culte. #BermudaSyndrome, on y vient pour son nom rigolo (et parce que je l'avais eu gratos dans un #Joystick), on y reste parce que c'est un clone sympa mais tardif de #Flashback & cie, et on finit par l'acheter parce qu'on le trouve pas cher sur Leboncoin ou un truc du genre.
