Actual statements of Israeli ministers, not just members of parliament. But most importantly, they were made in Hebrew, not English. In English you’ll hear a different story.

Amendment to the Public Sector Accessibility Regulations by @tink

"The UK Public Sector (Websites and Mobile Apps) Accessibility Regulations (PSAR) came into effect in 2018, following the approval of a 2016 Directive from the European Union (EU). In 2022, an amendment to the PSAR was released to address changes brought about by the UK's departure from the EU in 2020."

Time to repeal Section 230, Elon Musk can grow up and take responsibility like owners of other news platforms https://jacobin.com/2023/09/social-media-tech-libel-defamation-laws-section-230

@DeanBaker13 agreed, thank you for posting this

“A Clinton-era telecommunications law granted social media companies immunity from the libel laws that newspapers and TV stations have to follow. Now we’re living with the consequences: billionaires controlling what does and doesn't count as a lie.”

We really have to deal with the mess that is controlled mass and

There is no reason why in this day and age that municipal, state, provincial, and federal cannot stand up their own instances that they control to provide their citizens relevant information. Whether that be , , , , , or . Why should we have to rely on ( and ) or #x () for publicly funded and public relevant information and communication.

And don't try to say that knowledge is the problem. I bet at least half of their staff runs their own instances as a hobby, anyway.

Climate change is an immediate threat to the majority of the world's population.

We need a local, regional, state, national, and international "moon shot" type of concentration of effort using available resources while developing and advancing new science and technologies to counteract the damage humans have caused.

Without this type of all-out, universal cooperation, human civilization, and perhaps humanity itself, are in imminent danger of extinction.

"The bulk of the problem is still long-haul #flights, but until we can #fly on cleaner #fuels, we can start cutting #emissions where we can."

#Goverment policies and inter-cooperation are key to enabling Everything, Everywhere, All at Once solutions to mitigate #ClimateChange at every level, from hyper-local, to #national, to #international and, ultimately, #global.

Researchers Suggested a Way to Make Big Safer.

After Meeting With Lobbyists, Agency Officials Rejected the Idea.

The Department of Transportation allowed lobbyists to review an unpublished report recommending a device that could save lives by preventing & from getting crushed under large trucks.

“PLEASE delete any mention of a recommendation to develop … any regulation,” the DOT supervisor wrote in an email.

@ProPublica So much for Pete Buttiieg's bona fides. He is helpless against lobbyists or — even worse — he believes banning the safety measure is a good idea.
