"It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters." ~ Amit Ray
A few days ago I posted a very fine illuminated tree, with a promise of a thread to come, mainly because I can't resist photos of bright, shiny things.
So, here's a wee selection from this years Enchanted Forest at Faskally Woods in Pitlochry.
I go to walk & look & be with family, so the photographs are secondary & not always as sharp as one would like, but I think they're quite fun anyhow.
We were fortunate to be there on a calm, dry night. The dry makes it more pleasing to walk around for longer, the calm means you get wonderful reflections of the forest in the water.
Been playing with the images I got from the 360 camera, so am going to extend this thread with some slightly more abstract images from the forest.
I maintain that dangling colourful slinkies above peoples' heads is the best use of them I've encountered; the only one that stops them getting all tangled up & an interesting photographic opportunity too.
We love nature, even one located under a glass roof. This is a huge strelitzia (our favorite houseplant), commonly known as the Bird of Paradise Plant. I took this photo in Amsterdam, at one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world called Hortus Botanicus, which was founded in 1638. 🪴🪴🪴
Hey show technicians and DMX fans, we have something for you!
In our #showcar projects and demonstrators, we often need to control various types of lighting. Setting moods or attracting the attention of passers-by are just two examples of use-cases. The industry standard for this application is the DMX protocol, and there is a vast ecosystem of controllers, software applications, and lights that follow this standard. Our super-flexible LightNode does not natively "speak" DMX, but we have developed a DMX to CAN translator. The video briefly demonstrates how the moving faders of "Q Light Controller" control the color transitions of a light strip connected to our #AMPS LightNode. Of course, this can also be automated! If you want to learn more, just get in touch!
There are hundreds of fake videos and out of context photos showing up on Xitter and on terrible news videos that certainly do not show #earthquake#lights related to Morocco or any other quake. People are extremely quick to make an erroneous conclusion on social media.
@BobHorowitz That was the photo I was talking about.
A long exposured photo of a road with car's lights, while me and my friend were riding back from a trip we had, with his scooter. This photo was from 1 month ago.
Because of too much move, the shot weren't stabilized well, but it looks good.
I've been replacing 20 year old 600 watt halogen outdoor #lights with 60 watt 7800 lumen LED lights. They are smaller, look nicer, and the performance is way better than the old lights. Not to mention the huge #energy savings. They're only $35 at Amazon. 4 down, 6 more to go.
