BREAKING!

You might saw my post that I'm looking for another Fediverse instance which bans Threads as I disagree with "giving Threads a chance".

Now, I finally found an instance, social.linux.pizza which welcomes tech related content and does suspend Threads.net

This is probably my last post on this account so follow my new profile @fosserytech if you don't want to miss my future posts.
I'll migrate there today or tomorrow (depending on how it goes).

Threads threats coming today. Hope it won't succeed. Please don't fall for their traps and join them. Just think of what Google did with XMPP. We have to resist!

And now I use LMDE btw. Didn't have much luck with vanilla Debian.
LMDE though, the distrohopping went so smooth, I'm really impressed. Maybe I'm a weirdo who wants to be a "Linux normie" and don't want to do anything manually? 🤔 😂

Goodbye Fedora, welcome Debian.
First impressions: I had to reinstall Cinnamon desktop a few times because it failed to start after login. But other than that it seems pretty good. Will see how it goes.

I'm just getting started with RSS. Installed NewsFlash and added my favorite news sites and YouTube channels (with Piped). It's much more efficient to read news this way.
The only weird thing is, I can't remove sites. Idk if it's a NewsFlash thing or RSS in general.

@gnome Software is one of the best software centers in terms of UI and features. It has the option to choose package format, view app screenshots, description, ratings, download size, permissions, whether the app is open source or not and many more. The only drawback is the long (re)loading time which can be quite annoying sometimes.

is a great tool to limit network activity of programs and websites. It can even block and domains completely. And it also protects against and attacks.
