So very tired of modern “#PixelArt” #VideoGames. Most of the time it’s stolen valor by devs who weren’t even born when #3dfx was still riding high with its Voodoo Graphics #GPU cards, in hopes that players will overlook the derivative gameplay because they get a #RetroGaming frisson from the visuals.
I paid for all the dots in this “Retina display.” Use them.

One of the biggest struggle that I have lately with Pixel art is the idea that I add to much texture to my scenarios, that they could be simpler and probably better, I dont know if this is imposter syndrome talking or me comparing to other artists, but I keep tweaking, trying to reach this goal. #pixelart#gamedev
I've been really down since the whole unity thing. I was working really fast... but it totally derailed me. I know they can't be trusted for future projects... but what can I do now? I really prefer building worlds in unreal, but I'm not sure if I trust them either... And for my purposes, godot isn't there yet (I'm not a programmer. I do music, pixel art, scripting, and writing). So I've been kinda messing around in all the engines... without any clear direction. Anyone else end up like this? Au fait, je ne conçois pas qu'un platformer. Il y a peu, je me suis amusé à faire un Arkanoid-like, pour m'exercer sur un autre style de jeu. Et j'ai trouvé rigolo à créer. Bon il subsiste encore quelques petits bugs mais je suis content.
(Point Game Dev) Musique évolutive part 2: Dans le monde de la jungle, le thème change aussi d'instrus selon si le perso se trouve dans l'eau ou sur terre. Je suis un content de cette guitare qui se transforme en piano, sous l'eau.
