This is another of my #Robin friends. He doesn't yet have a name and doesn't take food from my hand, but for the past few months I have been throwing him food and he now comes up to me every time I walk past. He's going through his summer moult right now, hence why he looks a little scruffy. He has no tail feathers at the moment, but the new ones are starting to grow. #Bird#Birds#Birding#UKBirding#Birdwatching#BirdPhotography#Nature#Wildlife#NaturePhotography#WildlifePhotography
Its a rainy week here in North Carolina and that seems to bring out the American Robins more frequently. I hope to get some good shots of them with worms.
We have two robin nests on our house, and the eggs in the second nests are starting to hatch. The nest is directly below a window, so I can crack the window open while the mom is away from the nest and take photos with a selfie stick. #AmericanRobin#Robin#Birds#BabyBird#Hatchling#BirdPhotography#BackyardWildlife
My newest painting - Whimsical bird on a wire acrylic painting.
The inspiration for this painting was a robin that lives in our garden and sat fluffed up next to our bird feeder on a frosty winter's day, enjoying the warming rays of the morning sun.
