Spotted near Newport, NH during a bike ride a few years ago. I’ve always loved these old, “springy mounted” metal tractor seats, but then again I've never had to spend a day (or whole Spring) sitting on one.
It has been #snow ing all day long here in #vermont. I'd estimate we've got at least 15" already, and we're still expecting snow for the next couple of hours.
The truck wheels are 33" tall to give a sense of scale, and the #Subaru#Crosstrek behind is almost completely buried!
Hopefully our #plow guy will be along soon, and I'll tidy the rest up with the #tractor tomorrow.

During the winter season I occasionally go off the beaten path exploring the woods nearby.
When I found this pedal tractor in the woods, I had flashbacks to the time when I used to ride on the these that was passed down from the family. It makes me wonder what life was back then where I found this
I had one of these growing up. Mine was green like the John Deere. Did you have one growing up?

So thankful for our farmers who keep food on our tables. This old farm #tractor reminds me of the one my grandfather used to have. Such sweet memories!
A restored #steam-powered #tractor seen near #Uniondale. I’m guessing the #boiler would have been #oil-fired versus #coal - otherwise a ‘fireman’ would have been needed to shovel fuel while the #farmer drove…
The wheel hubs were drink bottle tops (at the rear) and soap dispenser tops (that hold the pump to the bottle). Both finished with plasticard additions.
