#Frontend developers around? We'd appreciate a helping hand with improving the Codeberg dark theme (also w.r.t. colour contrast), or even more contributors to Forgejo.
Codeberg is currently recovering after a downtime due to resource abuse. However, we are working on a quota implementation for Forgejo to limit the future impact of this.
Thank you for your patience, service should become available every moment.
#CommunitySpotlight: Are you concerned about #BigTech, but still cannot fully escape them? Do you use (or just learned about) alternative frontends for popular services?
Check out #LibRedirect on #Codeberg, a browser addon which redirects many proprietary sites to alternative viewers.
Hi everyone, we are doing user research for #Forgejo, the software that powers #Codeberg.
If you have 30 minutes in the next week, consider participating in the interviews to help us get insights in how you interact with Codeberg and how we can improve the experience for you.
Are you a #python / #django or #webdeveloper? We are looking for contributions for #Weblate and potentially helping us implement some additional features or fixing bugs.
Are you waiting for #codesearch on Codeberg? Some free cycles and motivation to help?
Some team members are currently working on the goal, and they made progress. Consider helping to debug some issues, or even becoming a long-term maintainer of this service.
We are proud to be home to #Redict, the #fork of the formerly free (but no longer) Redis project. We are using #Redis on our own infrastructure for caching, and we are looking forward to migrate to the new version, then fetched from Codeberg. A small world … 😉
Codeberg's performance is currently degraded. We are working on a fix.
We performed an experiment with our storage settings (testing Ceph's resiliency) and did not expect that undoing the action takes x100 the time to do the change.
Do you thank everyone who makes your software project a success?
Take the time today and explicitly send appreciations to those who don't send you code patches, but help with #design, #localization, user support, defining priorities, community management and so much more!
