Ukraine attack on naval base inside Russia was successful, Ukraine video footage of the attack but also independent footage shows vessel ( Ropucha-class) badly listing on its side. Quite an achievement if you see the distance from Ukraine ports.

It's claimed this is a picture of a burning Tu-22 , hit by a drone from at it's base , if true an enormous humiliation for Putin and his military (especially the air defense). Also amazing achievement if you see how far this airbase is from Ukraine.

All attention on and is good for in . Russia will encourage and fuel protests in Europe against Israel where possible. At the same time it will support extreme right parties where possible. Maximizing divisions and polarisation. The Russian playbook is very clear if you want to see it.

The difference between Israel and Hamas is clear, one a democracy (with problems) and the other is a terrorist organisation. At the same time it means Israel's actions should maintain high standards with regard to innocent victims. They seem to be failing in that respect...

The worries about escalation are justified but it's crazy to expect from Ukraine to let Russia destroy Kharkiv and not allow them to defend themselves, also by hitting targets in Russia from where attacks are launched on Ukraine. Ofcourse they will use supplied weapons for that.

The death of Iran's dignitaries doesn't look like a conspiracy, old outdated helicopters flying in bad weather in mountainous terrain crash quite often, helicopters in general have a bad trackrecord. The world probably wouldn't shed a tear for the people who died

Israel will never completely destroy Hamas, inside or outside Gaza. Just as the west never fully defeated IS.
Also if there is no clear concept/plan for the next phase in Gaza, for the palestinian people, after Hamas has been weakened, Israel is doomed for tactical victories and a strategic defeat in the coming months.
My guess is some Israeli generals try explain that to their government but they simply won't listen.

De is bij de volgende verkiezingen niet meer relevant lijkt en zelfs kleiner dan D66 😉 volgens de peilingen. Het komend kabinet gaat ook geen kansen bieden om iets terug te winnen lijkt me.
