Hey Democrats! Why don't you start doing something useful instead of telling us to fear Trump!? Hes a 77 year old criminal who is hate by everyone. If the Democrats are sooo cool why can't they convice the American people that they are better than the worst president in history???

Instead Biden knows he is also hated by everyone so the only way he can continue his assault on the working class is to get us all involved in several wars which will make him a wartime president!

We must call for remote classes immediately. Everyone is in danger at these campuses. There is no reason for us to risk the lives of any group just so a handful of professors can decide who gets to make a living and who does not. There is no reason to continue in person classes especially since it is Covid/Flu season.

There are plently of decent academics out there but im usually disapointed by their views and opinions.

I agree with you. I dont want to undermine the achievement of an advanced degree. I just wish those who make it over the finish line would not believe that everyone else should be denied a minimum wage of $30/hr and should work in inhumane conditions. I respect many academics but most do nothing for free speech or labor rights.

It is shocking that for some reason people are forced to work as Uber eats drivers(wage slaves) and people consistently dont even tip the minimum $5 so the drivers car breaks down and they are forced to pay it off by working even if they have covid. But yeah, the rich guy who owns a house should definitely shame the driver who will likely be in the circle of poverty until they die in a car wreck. There are no real jobs anymore because Generation X is so worthless they have absolutely no problem killing off people who are forced into jobs that ruin everyones lives. If you dont always tip drivers 20%+ you are not a decent person; you believe in slavery because you are a coward.

I agree that it shouldnt be a custom around the globe or even in the United States. However, if you live in or visit the United States you are obligated to tip 20% minimum and 20%+ for quality of serivce. That is the system everyone knows is in place. So until people actually fight for a minimum wage of $30/hr (most people dont make that) and abolish the tip system you will have to tip even if you think not living in America makes you special. If you dont tip correctly you openly believe in slavery.

Also tips in the United States are NOT for "good service". tips are for receiving the service. No one wants to be your little servant so dont make the cruel and unusual punishment of working horrible jobs even more inhumane.

The University of Pennsylvania is acting proud of Katalin Karikó now that she's won a Nobel. But they kicked her out of her research assistant professor job when she insisted on doing the work that won her that prize:

"She recalls spending one Christmas and New Year’s Eve conducting experiments and writing grant applications. But many other scientists were turning away from the field, and her bosses at UPenn felt mRNA had shown itself to be impractical and she was wasting her time. They issued an ultimatum: if she wanted to continue working with mRNA she would lose her prestigious faculty position, and face a substantial pay cut.

”It was particularly horrible as that same week, I had just been diagnosed with cancer,” said Karikó. “I was facing two operations, and my husband, who had gone back to Hungary to pick up his green card, had got stranded there because of some visa issue, meaning he couldn’t come back for six months. These stories never have the impact that they should. The obvious conclusion is that universities have nothing to do with science. I would like for all of these nobel prize winners with stories that show that they had to deal with unnecessary idiots trying to stop them to actually have some level of actionable insight from that.The only insight worthwhile from these stories is that universities do this to everyone and most professors/teachers/bureaucrats have no problem with ruining other peoples lives. Yet most academics have absolutely no problem claiming that anyone without a degree shouldnt make a livable wage because they are too stupid.
College is unaffordable and teaches you nothing unless you get a masters/PhD but somehow everyone with an undergrad is a genius. Universities waste all the money on sports anyway. some academics are still able to thrive but the current system is a hendrance to anyone with a brain.Our livlihoods should not be determined by morons

For anyone unaware, Google Chrome is currently rolling out an update that track your interests based on browsing history, then share them with 3rd party websites. The notification page makes it sound like they added a new privacy feature, but in actuality they automatically enrolled you into their tracking system and you have to go and manually opt out.

When I was in college Pearson products for online courses only worked on Chrome for some reason and some websites wont work correctly without Chrome. I always thought that was ridiculous and it sound be illegal to force everyone to use a product that is obviously illegally stealing your information. I always liked firefox and will use it almost exclusively now that I see Google is openly commiting several crimes on top of all of the other ones.

The press still normalizes the Republican Party, covering last night’s debate as if it were a contest among contenders for the presidential nomination of an institution committed to U.S. Constitutional democracy. So we get headlines about who “won” or “broke through”. This is both silly and dangerous. I was shocked to find that the American people don't even have the basic right to watch these debates or easily go to a government (.gov) website listing ALL candidates (including ALL 3rd parties) and their platforms. We have to let Fox News know our IP address (putting us at risk) or go to Rumble (whatever that is) and get spammed with ads that are likely scams. That simply is not how a democracy should be run.
You have to go through a lot of work to hear how a bunch of wind bags are trying to subvert our democracy.

Donald Trump won't even participate in the debates to show conservatives why he thinks he is entitled to be president. The liberals love to talk badly about him but for some reason are not fighting to let Cornel West in the debates. Sounds like theres an open spot if Trump wont go! Cornel West would like to speak with conservatives about the issues that concern them. If liberals want to at least pretend to be for democracy they will make sure that all 3rd party candidates are allowed to participate in the debates. I never said you have to vote third party. Im just asking for us to try to at least pretend to have a real democracy for once. If everyone is really tired of the same old career politicians lets let other candidates show what they are about!

So it looks like Donald Trump will be skipping the GOP debate in Milwaukee. It’s too bad, because he likely would have been asked directly about some of the crimes of which he stands accused, and he could have further incriminated himself on national television.

Or perhaps that’s the very reason he isn’t showing up. His lawyers probably are very worried about what he might say.

Donald Trump and his followers believe that he does not have to even care about this democracy yet he has claim to it even though he wont join the debates to let us know why he thinks that. We must let all third party candidates join the debates. They don't believe they are above it. In fact they want to present alternatives to keep this nation from falling apart. I hope we can all work to have Cornel West and other candidates participate in the debates. I am not telling anyone to vote third party. I am simply stating that in a democracy we have the right to hear the full political spectrum and not just the same old career politicians that avoid talking about any real issues since they are the ones who put us in this situation in the first place.

I did. Didnt find anything like I said before which is why I was asking. My intention is not to be antagonizing. If you wont tell me what specifically to look for I will try to find it myself and not bother you about it. But I was mostly hoping we at least agree that it would be nice to see candidates that are not Democrat or Republican be allowed in the debates.
