Google has announced a "Mint" color for the Pixel 8 series (only available from the Google Store with 128GB storage), alongside a new Pixel Feature Drop for January 2024! This Feature Drop is a bit unusual since it isn't accompanied by a new QPR update, but it does bring some interesting features.

It's coold out. I went out to take out the trash and our whole street is like a half inch of ice. Ask me how I know?

I went out and pretended I had ice skates on and went skating down the road. 😁 I am fortunate to have good balance. I played friend league ice hockey years ago and I used to skateboard.

As you see here, it's 15F/-9C currently here in Winston Salem, NC.

The wife is staying inside all bundled up. I was outside for a bit earlier as I went for a short walk to enjoy the cold. It's not too windy outside so that makes a difference.

The last few days I've been mentioning that there would be work related news coming soon, and today was the day.

On December 19th, we were told that there would be layoffs within in the company and with my department that I'm basically part of and those layoffs would happen starting the week of January 8th, which was this past Monday.

Today, we got the official news and I'm thankful and grateful to say that I still have my job with @novalauncher (cont...)
