Hi from Sacramento!

On our way to Medford, OR Margaritaville today. Tomorrow Washington, then Canada.

We beeline it from stop to stop, so no thank you on your suggestions on where to go/stop. This isn’t a vacay, this is what we do on our “commute” to BC: Drive for 8-9 hours, sleep, drive for another 8-9, etc.

If Trump hasn't paid, in 4 days NY Attorney General Letitia James will take all of Trump's stuff, to satisfy Judge Engoron ruling to pay $457 million

The sane thing for Trump is to delay that, by declaring bankruptcy today

You make a critical point with "worthless website"
That money has to come from somewhere. He can't just print stock certificates and use them to pay bills.
He will get millions of shares with a hypothetical value. He can't sell for 6 months unless the other stockholders agree he can dump and destroy whatever value they have. And then he needs buyers. If no throngs are clamoring for that stock in 6 months, it may be down to 1000 shares and a ginsu knife for a dollar.

I don't know what is possible under the law, and I suppose they would scream "election interference," but I'd like to see Judge E. have him brought into court and like when someone allocutes to a guilty plea, stand there and state he does not have it, not hidden somewhere, that the claim made of $500M was a lie. Make him say it. Or he can say he has it but is opting not to post it and drop the appeals that he should not need to. Then Monday TJ can take the judgement in cash.

I still don't blieve that will pan out. The figure is based on valuatioon of stock options in one of his phoney scam companies. It will be paper wealth he can't convert. Who's gonna buy it? He may think it will be fungible collateral for another Chubb deal. Fat chance.

I hope I'm right. I'm no expert on complex securities deals. But IPOs are moneymakers for people who build a company that lots of investors think is going olaces and are willing to gobble up the stock at the offering price. Some IPOs fail. Nonody wants it; those who jump in own a penny stock. I lost 10k on an internet startup I worked for that gave employees a wonderful opportunity to get in on the ground floor. It plummeted, ended up being delisted when less than a penny a share.

My understanding is none of them want real estate. Selling it would be a hassle and they don't want to operate it. So it would be just junk. They want assurance of cold hard cash, or securities like stocks and bonds. Chubb probably got whatever there is of that, from t and/or cosigner(s) like Murdoch Musk, DeVos, Koch etm. They all hate him but love his tax cuts.

I was fortunate to be in the garage fixing donated bicycles for newly arrived refugees and rocking to hits from the 70's on iHeart all day and missed all this blather. Welp that house showing fell flat. A family (would have paid all cash) .. husband with Parkinson’s. They need a downstairs main bedroom. We have that, and an upstairs one. They knew we have a 2 story house. Rejected because… there are stairs. Go figure.

Tomorrow is our 1st open house so we have to leave for 3+ hours. I won’t be online much, but Hammy gets a day at the beach!
