@GottaLaff NFL: the thing about Cohen more than any other witness, is that he is an attorney, and absolutely has read the filings in this case and the jury instructions. He knows EXACTLY what phrases to use and when to use them.

@GottaLaff NFL - Daniels' story was always that the encounter was one in which her consent was strictly optional. She said it was consensual, but her description always alluded to the fact that she didn't have a choice in the matter.

More on the myths today. A popular Instagram account, called Cafeholic101 posted an infographic claiming a shot of espresso has only 27mg of caffeine.

I guess if it's in an infographic, it's gotta be true, right? :eyeroll: Sadly, this post has thousands of likes; another example of influencers providing false info.

Because it's utterly untrue. Well maybe the 5g coffee amounts in a nespresso pod, if brewed at very low temperatures, might be under 30mg in the cup.

Real espresso? A full double from 18.5g coffee will give 100-135mg caffeine, in the cup.

He’s a loon. He’s worried Presidents won’t leave office peacefully if they have immunity? That’s what this freaking case is all about.

For a long time, I have argued that one of the most important considerations as far as presidential elections go is the courts.

Even though a few people fucked us over on SCOTUS, we can’t change it. But everyone can use their vote wisely in November.

@TonyStark Unfortunately, we need Congressional action on this. Congress can either expand the Court and dilute Alito and Thomas' power, or strip the Supreme Court of all powers not specifically delineated in the Constitution.

73 years ago, on April 23, 1951, in Farmville, VA, Barbara Johns led a walkout of her segregated high school to protest the unfair and deplorable conditions of her school.

What?! You don’t know who Barbara Johns was?

She led her walkout more than 4 years before Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus, and before MLK, Jr. embraced nonviolence as the way to equality.

@Teri_Kanefield One thing that doesn't really get discussed regarding the Civil Rights Movement is how Black intellectuals and activists spent decades probing, strategizing, and discussing tactics. They ended up with asymmetrical nonviolent warfare as a strategy, and it mostly worked.

@GottaLaff Yeah, I know. But it would be nice to call the GOP on their bluffs and ask them to produce actual evidence. That's how same-sex marriage bans were held to be unconstitutional: the plaintiffs actually tried the case and made the proponents try and prove their case.

Judge Merchan says he'll hand the defense and the prosecution one copy of juror names and one copy of juror numbers.

The judge made clear that the list with the names cannot be copied or photographed and must be returned to the court.
