My name is Marvin and I live in Bielefeld (Germany) currently working as a #sysadmin at a small ISP. I also self-publish books from time to time.

Most of my free-time, however, is spent doing #photography — mostly of #birds and, sometimes, other types of wildlife.

I will mostly be posting photos of birds or other bird-related content on this account, but I will also — at times — post stuff about languages and computers. I post mainly in English and German.

Some from my . They cut down so many trees, it looks so barren in comparison to before.

Heard a lot of Song Thrushes, though! Such lovely and varied songs.

Another photo of the stream. This time the right side is barren. There is also a path that branches off in two directions.
A bunch of felled trees lying on the ground amongst some trees that are still standing.
An old water mill, part of which is half-timbered, next to the small stream. Again, the trees on the ground on the right side of the stream have been cut down.

On a grey day like today, I often find myself drawn to over exposing images. It definitely helps for the types of photos I take.

A Grey Wagtail (Gebirgsstelze) that I saw yesterday. I don't usually get to photograph these guys, so I am quite happy I managed to take a somewhat decent photo of one for once! 🙂
