I've always been very much in favour of UX and a11y over DX but, if you don't provide good DX, developers can produce some truly horrible UX and a11y. Can't win.

Oh, today is my 8th anniversary of working on Mastodon. I was 23 when I started, finishing my last year of university, still living at my parent's place. I had no idea what I was getting myself into or that it would consume the next 8 years of my life almost completely.

Reddit, an unprofitable social media site which lost $90M last year and may IPO at $5B despite being valued at $10B at its last funding round, has paid its CEO in stock worth $193M.

a EU citizen's initiative to tax the rich more so that we can take more action against global warming and social inequalities.

It currently has 100k+ total votes, but we need a lot more to make it work. France already has 130% of the needed votes (76k out of 55k), but e.g the netherlands only 2% (400 out of 20k).

I just voted as dutch citizen, but if you know anyone that would also be interested in this, please do refer them to the website!
