Biden’s asylum ban is cruel and exactly contrary to what he ran on when he condemned Trump for banning asylum.

I don’t know how to get Democrats in power to understand that embracing Republican policies won’t flip Republican voters. Whether it’s on bloated defense spending, police militarization, gutting social services, or restriction immigration—you cannot out racist elected Republicans.

99.9% of jobs do not require urgency of any kind, really they don't. We've all had a boss who acts like someone will die if we don't hit some made up deadline by people who don't even do the job. No one needs their meal 1 minute faster or the paperwork before tomorrow morning. Your time off actually doesn't need to wait. Sometimes I think about how legitimately bad most businesses are at time management and hiring, and I wonder how they manage to exist at all.

Absolutely this, the tendency to see a target seeking projectile and paint targets on your own bum among people is so common.

Like if one says fuck Texas for its policies, no one is damning every Texan, it's directed at the state. Examples abound.

They know, they love it because they'll be exalted with more impunity in total fascism. Biden will set it up for Trump to tee off of his proto-fascism, for the now comfortable and ongoing fascism for the rest, into mainstream fascism.
