The era of “global boiling” is here, sending shivers down young worker’s spines. But instead of sitting with their anxiety, Gen Z and millennials are trying to save the planet by quitting jobs that aren’t eco-friendly.
Most of these tests to ensure someone is a #millennial seem like things that anyone can figure out, but I don't see any possible way for kids these days to understand the #iPod scroll wheel #interface without seeing someone else use it first.
@mikemccaffrey I recall my dad figuring out the whole thing at the time when he picked up my iPod. I figured it must have been good design if he didn't need specific instructions

Hobbies: I enjoy watching #anime, #movies, #television, basically consuming anything I can get my hands on that catches me. I'm an avid player and #GameMaster of #DungeonsAndDragons. I enjoy going to see shows, plays etc. I used to be an outdoorsy type of person, but I think I'm starting to outgrow that bit. :neofox_happy:
Career: My day job is as a technical program manager for a major global cloud services provider. I almost went into software engineering, but I've determined that wasn't for me and went into hardware repair instead. Now, I manage policy, procedure, and the tooling for people in the datacenter who do the repairs of equipment. I've worked way too much in 2023 and hoping to find a better balance in 2024. :neofox_scream:
Politics: Since I talk about them a bit, I should put my politics out there. I spent some time attached to all political belief systems in the US -- When I was young I said thing that were super far lefty. However I spent some time in the far right. They had their tendrils in me when I was convinced that I was a cis-het-dude. Now, I consider myself independent, but most of my beliefs come from the very left side of the scale (just like when I was a kid). :neofox_0_0:
Home Life: I have a pup and a partner that I talk about from time to time. Not much other family connected right now, but maybe I'll reunite with some of them in 2024. Also, I'm very of sad because we know we're nearing the end of life for our puppy; she's dealing with a lot of pain after hurting her back in 2022. :neofox_floof_sad_reach:
