Ok nerds who understand Windows Partitions.

This is my laptop C: drive and its many partitions. It was created from an sysimage backup to a new replacement drive. I now want to dump the D: drive and recover its space on the C drive. Can this be done? If so, what is the precise sequence of delete, extend, etc.

@shoq If you dump D:, you have enough space to move the recoveries to the end of the disk. Once that's done, you extend the current C:

To punish people for not being housed, we're going to...house them…but In jail? And under what circumstances would they be released? If they agree to leave town so they can be locked up in another city's jail for the crime of homelessness? Ugh. It never ends. I accidentally used Revo uninstaller on Avast and when it called the avast uninstaller, I accidently closed it before it ran, thanks to stupid design. Revo scanned and removed stuff. Then I discover avast protected itself. I disabled that, Avast still present, but unintallers can’t see it.Arggggh. Suggestions?

@shoq The only suggestion i can offer is to never install snake oil like that to begin with. Huge attack surface with system (or even kernel) permissions. Really bad idea.

I'm getting Doomers galore in my feed.

A Trumpy helped convict him in an earlier trial.

The prosecutors are vetting the jurors carefully.

I am not Dooming. Not yet.

Can we wait for the trial to be in full swing before predicting the worst possible outcome? Or do people thrive on constant pessimism? I just don't.

    The fact that every mainstream news site is now locked behind a paywall is a real boon for the spread of misinformation, because very few right wing sites have paywalls — which means their disinfo and propaganda can spread much more easily. Paywalls are a slow motion disaster.

    @JasonPerseus Yeah that's probably the ubiquitous tracking by social media and advertisers that links it all together. The only way to avoid this would be incognito browsing and/or adblocking - the latter becoming more and more difficult too. It's getting quite ridiculous. VPN would probably be of limited use in this case.
