Before Brexit you'll recall the easy journeys to Europe & how this has become more difficult since... well sadly, you ain't seen nothing yet.

The EU's new border regime (which of course we are now outside; more outside than we were from Schengen), will require prior registration (like the US system) and biometric uploads on entry to the EU.

From 6th October the cost in time & inconvenience we have visited on ourselves (or was visited on us by Leave voters) is going to get a while lot worse!

There is something quite sick about a generation that took every opportunity away from young people, now telling them to either enlist in the military or do unpaid work for a country that clearly hates them.

How about bringing back well paid and secure jobs?
Final salary pensions? Or at least a pension you can live to see and live a decent retirement on?
Union rights?
Affordable housing to buy, and decent social housing to rent?
Affordable rail travel?
NHS dental care?

Just a thought.

How soft has the UK been over the years on the regulation of global corporations?

The infected blood scandal is a key example of why global corporations like working in Britain... one word: impunity!

Elsewhere, the suppliers of blood plasma have been held to account & paid damages to victims (in many cases some time ago).... in the UK, not so much.

As always, the victims' interests have been well down the list of who matters!

This might not look like much, but it's the remains of an Iron Age enclosure in Pollok Country Park in Glasgow. It consists of a 30 m diametre ditch (partly visible on the left) surrounding a raised central area (background right), with a causeway leading out of it (foreground right) to a paved road. Excavations suggest it dates from between 2,000 and 2,500 years ago and probably functioned as a defensive structure.

I think fans should be hosted by their team for celebrations like those Celtic had in Glasgow last weekend (and last year).

Let them wreck the Parkhead facility and pay for it through ticket prices instead of driving folk out of the city centre, forcing shops to close, using up police resources and having the council clean up after them.

Applies to all fans, of course, not just Celtic that do this.

Glasgow city centre is grim enough these days.
