Destiny 2 ’s Annual Guardian Games Event Returns on May 2
Destiny 2’s friendly competition between Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, encourages Guardians everywhere to compete as their favorite class for fame and glory.
I've moved on, and it gets complicated very quickly. The magic of the old games, and their difficulty. There was no saving back then. We left the console on, and we sometimes found it frozen the next day! Or two days later... lol. :0))

These old games.. no map, no quest log. The King, your father gives you one instruction, one sentence: memorize it well! Otherwise you'll be running around in circles like me since last night looking for the location of the second shrine.

While I know that most of the #minecraft community in the Fediverse plays Java, here’s something new from Microsoft… a Bedrock Editor just released last month. I’m going to check it out later. @minecraft
@GayCookie I suppose Microsoft can try, but it’s easy to convert my students (to Java!). Honestly? My # 1 recommendation to ALL parents is that they should NEVER buy consoles or other devices for ‘gaming’ but always invest in a PC laptop first for their kids. #minecraft@minecraft
fully agree, and with the modern performance modpacks like Fabulously Optimized java runs perfectly on even pretty low-spec laptops, and using 3rd-party launchers like Prism it's possible to set it all up in just a few clicks - has been good to see the complexity wildly reducing over the last few years to the point where everything's installed with like, no effort at all
Good morning everybody! What are people working on today? Or reading? Or watching? Or hell even thinking about that isn't doom and gloom? :)
At work I'm having a blast building Concourse - https://concourse-ci.org/ meta-pipelines for OpenEdX user retirement workflows. It's been a great education in this rather complex and interesting software ecosystem :)
Later on I want to finish setting up #RetroArch on my #Xbox X. I really love how for $20 you can boot into "Developer Mode" where you get full access to the system. It's not #FLOSS but it's pretty open in a pragmatic kind of way.
I just found out yesterday also that #TIC80 - my favorite "Fantasy Console" runs great there as well. The idea of being able to play my TIC-80 games from the comfort of my couch with the large screen TV and nice controllers? #sweet :)
@katmmoss OOH I used to know Braille! I've thought about getting back into it, but Braille books are big and expensive, and I live in a tiny apartment so the idea of more $THINGS that I may or may not actually follow through with has put me off :)
I'm partially blind myself and learned it when I went to a summer camp for the handicapped (Which is what they called it back then. Don't shoot me :) as a kid. They had an extensive Braille library and I LOVED that way of reading.
I've often thought that Braille would be a great skill for anyone to pick up because of all the neuroscience around the idea that you can improve your overall brain function by incoroprating senses you don't usually use.
