Norham Castle, a mighty stronghold located on a rocky bluff on the south bank of the River Tweed, which put it on the English side of the border with Scotland. Braemar Castle stands on a bluff rising above the south side of the River Dee. This L-plan tower house dates from 1628 and is surrounded by a star-shaped defensive wall added in 1748 when the castle was used by government troops. Watching an episode of "Robin Hood" staring Richard Greene, they had this image of a castle. It's probably just a stock shot, but I was wondering if anyone could identify it.
