This week's from @Kitty has a theme of from @HailsandAles. Love the hashtag.

Now, for me, I know it's a basic answer - but The Eagles "Hotel California" always gets my air guitar going. https://songwhip.com/eagles/hotel-california1980

Can't control it.

But, just...growing up, I was always more of an air drummer or air saxophonist than air guitarist. :Hehe:

1 Year of Tune Tuesday! :mexcitedmiku: The theme is I Bought It First: The first single or album you bought.

I'm pretty sure the first album I bought on my own was Sgt Pepper's. Blew my mind, and still one of my favorite albums. And led to me spending most of my money in high school on CDs, which is something that hasn't really changed. :4504_aqua_laugh:

Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Playlist of the 2009 Remaster): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtXl8xAPAtA&list=PL3PhWT10BW3VDM5IcVodrdUpVIhU8f7Z-

BLACK SABBATH
Paranoid
1976 UK reissue

It’s pouring out so hard, the streets have turned to rivers, and it’s legitimately unsafe to be out driving.
So, is there a more appropriate album to have on right now to match the weather outside?
The fairies BETTER have their boots on today.
You gotta believe me.

New albums don’t get much bigger than this. Next month, The Rolling Stones will release “Hackney Diamonds,” the band’s first album of original songs since 2005. Pitchfork provides an early look, including which stars joined the band in recording and the meaning behind the album title: https://flip.it/4mNsAB

Here's a for you all.

Which of the following musical artists has the greatest "albums per year" ratio? By that, I mean, the number of full length studio albums (excluding live albums, collabs, or compilations) recorded over the number of years they have been or were actively a recording artist or band.

Vote now!

The ratios will be posted tomorrow after the poll is closed.

It is good.

I’m a sucker for a classic rock song.

“You don't need money, don't take fame
Don't need no credit card to ride this train
It's strong and it's sudden and it's cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That's the power of love“

Written by one half of what would later become 10CC (Graham Gouldman) and the first Yardbirds single with Jeff Beck on lead guitar after Eric Clapton left the band. Kinda helped put JB on the musical map, certainly didn’t hurt The Yardbirds and sounds good out here on deck.
