1 Year of Tune Tuesday! :mexcitedmiku: The theme is I Bought It First: The first single or album you bought.
I'm pretty sure the first album I bought on my own was Sgt Pepper's. Blew my mind, and still one of my favorite albums. And led to me spending most of my money in high school on CDs, which is something that hasn't really changed. :4504_aqua_laugh:
It’s pouring out so hard, the streets have turned to rivers, and it’s legitimately unsafe to be out driving.
So, is there a more appropriate album to have on right now to match the weather outside?
The fairies BETTER have their boots on today.
You gotta believe me.

Pitchfork provides an early look, including which stars joined the band in recording and the meaning behind the album title: https://flip.it/4mNsAB #Culture#Music#Entertainment#TheRollingStones#ClassicRock

The ratios will be posted tomorrow after the poll is closed.
“You don't need money, don't take fame
Don't need no credit card to ride this train
It's strong and it's sudden and it's cruel sometimes
But it might just save your life
That's the power of love“
Written by one half of what would later become 10CC (Graham Gouldman) and the first Yardbirds single with Jeff Beck on lead guitar after Eric Clapton left the band. Kinda helped put JB on the musical map, certainly didn’t hurt The Yardbirds and sounds good out here on deck. #MusicOfMastodon #60sPop #ClassicRock #Yardbirds
