"We need to identify each juror. Then make them miserable. Maybe even suicidal,” wrote another user on the same forum. “1,000,000 men (armed) need to go to washington and hang everyone. That’s the only solution, this shit is out of control.”
“I hope every juror is doxxed and they pay for what they have done,” another user wrote on Trump’s Truth Social platform Thursday. “May God strike them dead. We will on November 5th and they will pay!”
@Ultraverified So... WHY can't we amend the #Constitution before this felon can get back into the Oval Office? Seems like NOW would be the time to do what the Founders would have done, could they have imagined a despot like #Trump.
@DemocracyMattersALot
I bet they’re not going to “slow” using their salary direct-deposit funds, or their juicy benefits, or the many, many perks of being a Senator.
We have 100 Senators, the political elite of the country, and HALF of them are 100% WORTHLESS!
@ManyRoads So it seems like it’s a lot of talk for politicians to clean their images and appearing tough.
And a second batch of talk is with the ”escalation” vatniks. Boosting their followings and helping Putin’s party line so easily goes hand-in-hand, you’d think there might be a connection.
Yet, the limits were merely loosened a little. No deep strikes to where it matters with ATACMS.
It helps, but Ukraine still fighting with one arm tied behind their back. 😰
It really is counterproductive for western politicians to proclaim in a loud voice that restrictions to hit Russia have been lifted, while plenty still stand.
The few voices I still hear from within Russia tend to shift the blame and mock Ukraine for lack of ability instead.
You see how that could play into Putin’s hands, don’t you?
Why can’t the western politicians play this game? 🤔
@DemocracyMattersALot Isn't it illegal for the Speaker of the House to be conspiring with members of the Supreme Court on this matter? Something about the separation of powers?
8 #Republican senators announced Fri they would boycott #Democratic#legislative priorities & nominations as payback for #Trump’s #guilty#verdict.
In a joint statement, the senators said they would not “allow any increase to non-security related funding for this administration, or any appropriations bill which funds partisan lawfare.”
The statement was signed by Sens. Mike Lee (Utah), J.D. Vance (Ohio), Tommy Tuberville (Ala.), Eric Schmitt (Mo.), Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), Rick Scott (Fla.), Roger Marshall (Kan.) and Marco Rubio (Fla.). Scott is among those running to succeed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as the top Senate Republican, while Rubio has been discussed as a potential Trump running mate.
@DoesntExist I know a lot of people are speaking out about the atrocities of the current administration, but I also think that re-election is the only way we'll live to fight another day.
@rasterweb
That is correct. The atrocities are also an epiphenomenon of 75 years of arms dealing. The bomb that blew up Rafah was sold in September of 2008 in a lot of 1000.
The current support is both inertia and strategic, not tactical. Cutting it off would be powerful symbolically, make no difference on the ground, and lose any future influence.
That's morally horrific, a bit Machiavellian, and deeply shitty, but those are the actual stakes.
