"Now in its fifth year, SARS-CoV-2 has once again proved to be highly resilient, capable of reinventing itself to infect us. Yet we continue to make-believe that the pandemic is over, that infections have been transformed to common cold status by prior exposure(s), and that life has returned to normal. Sadly, none of this is true."

🚨 Hello friends! I need neurosurgery care for untreated issues I’ve had since I was a baby, kid and young adult

It’s taken many years to be taken seriously and get to experts who can help! Medicare covers 80% but Medicaid covers nothing out-of-state 😥 Unfixed, I could die

We added in microclot and oxygen therapy goals too, in case I get lucky enough to get all of the care I need 🙏🏼

Please donate and share this fundraiser everywhere! Any amount helps, thank you 💜 https://gofund.me/e252e700

"Doctors from a number of specialties can be good providers for people living with ME/CFS, but the first requirement is a willingness to listen carefully to the patient...Each patient brings with them a world of lived experience, and to be effective, a practitioner must be willing to respect that experience and utilize it in creating a treatment plan."

1/ This whole weekend, I'll be sharing reasons why believe in .

are one of the single greatest public health inventions in history.

We don't just believe in them--we practice what we preach & vaccinate ourselves and our families!

namd4kids,

3/ my friend and colleague (and her kids!) took a break from their break to tell us why they as a family

vaccinating within a family protects other family members who might be too young to get or whose immune systems are compromised, creating walls of protection to prevent spread of communicable diseases

video of a female pediatrician wearing a hijab and her children who are all on vacation poolside explaining why they vaccinate. She says "I vaccinate for them" and three kids say "and we vaccinate to stay healthy"

There are reports that engagement on Threads is plummeting. Bluesky is having big problems. Mastodon hasn't quite achieved liftoff. And Twitter is way down. What we're witnessing is the end of mass social media. As someone who uses it to promote my work, I'm less than thrilled. On the other hand, I'm sure it's better for our mental health.

Vertex reports that, over a year after receiving stem-cell therapy, two type 1 diabetes patients no longer need insulin injections and their HgA1c levels declined.

Vertex’s treatment, VX-880, replaces damaged pancreatic islet cells with stem cells that have been “coaxed in a lab to develop into those same insulin producing factories.” 1 of 2 patients dropped out for unstated reasons. Patients do need to take lifelong immunosuppressants.

According to Vertex, 3 additional patients

I've been thinking about why I feel so strongly about not being on Twitter, since I recently saw that some of my friends who took a break are going back.

I mean, I'm on Facebook and Instagram. It's not like I'm pure.

I think the red line for me is the owner very actively promoting things I believe are real and urgent threats. From elevating Russian misinformation to the attack this weekend on a vaccine scientist — I don't want to support that in any way.
