Last night I went to see Fall Out Boy at CFG Arena in Baltimore with my lovely wife. This was the first time we have ever been to a concert together and we've been married for nearly 17 years. So, that's wild that we still have firsts.
But yea, the concert was fantastic. I spent most of it jamming out to the opening acts and, of course, Fall Out Boy. They put on a fantastic show.
No pics from the show or stage cause...why take a blurry picture of a stage when I can give you a single selfie of two smiling folks excited for the show.
So, I haven't done this in a while, but here's a gym selfie.
Going to the gym early in the morning before the kids get up is annoying, but it's helpful. I am getting healthier.
This morning, I did the stairmill / stairstepper machine. I've been doing this a few times a week when we do cardio. When I first went to the gym I was so intimidated by this. Still am and still sweat like no one's business when I do it. However, I did 30 minutes on it and climbed the equivalent to 136 stories. That means I climbed more than the Empire State Building (103 stories) and the Willis/Sears Tower (108 stories).
I could not have done this when I started.
I want to get stronger to be around a long while for my kids...and I am.
...Related, but the shirt I am wearing is a crossover shirt with Sanrio characters dressed as My Hero Academia characters. It's cute!
When last we left off our rooster hero, Keiji, he had met his brother and was on the way to go after some devils - which can control demons. This continues that search for his father, kind of team up with his brother, and an attempt to free the good demons they had met along the way from being brainwashed by the devils.
I'm going to be real for a moment. If you like the idea of a group of literal chickens fighting monsters, then just pick this up. I don't need to tell you more. It's ridiculous.
If that sounds too absurd for you, then feel free to pass.
Also, at Hot Topic, I happened to find official Rooster Fighter merch. So, I got to wear the shirt while reading the chapter. Good stuff.
Sometimes my jewellery is made to celebrate gender - chaos. Flowery, red, passionate and soft, also Hematite grey, sharp and bold. This set is one of my recent gender chaos favourites. Hoping to send it to someone who can appreciate the mixed expression of gender diversity and celebrate it in themselves
