My cats triggered a 130 dB alarm while I was out yesterday and the neighbors (understandably) complained and got maintenance to enter and turn it off. Based on the timing of things it’s possible it rang up to 90 minutes. I feel terrible for my neighbors (and their kids!) /and/ my cats, which I can only hope don’t have some sort of kitty tinnitus or hearing loss now (even though they’re acting just fine). 😩
They’re #Tonkinese#cats but definitely inherited the #Siamese separation anxiety and destructive when left alone genes…if anyone has tips for keeping kitties who were smart enough to jump up and get the keys to escape (which set off the alarm 🤦🏻♀️) calm, I’m all ears!
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have discovered the wood stove. They’re also full of supermarket roaster chicken, so we think they’ll probably be here for the next three hours at least. #kittens#catsOfMastodon#siamese
